quick update; no links included

edit 01/06/2010 : OK, so I realize there’s at least one or two big upcoming releases I had originally neglected to mention here, including the new WATAIN album coming out this month; that beast already leaked a little while ago so it was taken off of my list of albums to check for !

Forgive me if I’m forgetting any other great bands, but here’s what fellow metal heads can expect in the months to come:

Decrepit Birth - Polarity ; July 27

Kataklysm - Heaven’s Venom ; August 20

Malevolent Creation - Invidious Dominion ; August 27

Corpus Christii - Luciferian Frequencies ; end of summer

As far as bands still in the studio go:

The Absence is still working on Enemy Unbound

Enslaved have been posting pictures from the studio

Turisas are still busy recording and have put up new studio diary videos

Other bands that are apparently working on new records also include Glorior Belli, Quo Vadis, After the Burial, Skeletonwitch, and Neuraxis.
Hopefully we can expect rumors of new Necrophagist and Morbid Angel recordings to prove truthful.

And lastly…Wintersun have been working on the follow-up to the self-titled debut of former Ensiferum frontman Jari Mäenpää for a year or two now. However, due to numerous issues plaguing the process there were many release date delays until now, as far as I know Jari has not given any timeframe for a release. Hopefully we can see the fruits of his laborious work, Time, soon!
