Black Sabbath - Neon Knights from Heaven and Hell
You knew this was coming, but it’s more than deserved…
R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio ; July 10, 1942 - May 16, 2010
Excluding any upcoming albums I may have mentioned before, releases coming out soon include Corpus Christii, Nevermore, and Watain.
Turisas are in the studio.
Skeletonwitch and Neuraxis are both entering the studio in June.
Anticipated new releases which I’ve already mentioned in separate posts include Keep of Kalessin, Misery Index, The Absence, Kataklysm, and Enslaved.
I should probably mention that the new Order of Ennead album is out !!
I’ll be giving it a first listen in the morning and will likely have a sample track up shortly after.
Out in Europe - May 10, N.America - June 8!
I’ve been meaning to post this for about a month now but have just recently found the time to pick-up the blog(s) again.
Apparently Kataklysm have a new album on the way, adding to their already huge discography. Frontman, Maurizio Iacono, had stated that his side project, Ex Deo, was just that and wouldn’t be touring extensively or anything near what Kataklysm does; he wasn’t lying. Damn, this man must be busy. Kataklysm have been releasing an album every year or every two years consistently since 1992 including Prevail which was released in 2008. Keep in mind the band tours the world extensively to support each release, and the fact that Ex Deo’s Romulus just came out last year. In my mind, it’s pretty impressive that they’ve spent the last two years working on this latest album, tentatively slated for a fall 2010 release
The original, brief article linked above is over at Noisecreep.
If you’re familiar with Kataklysm, but haven’t heard Ex Deo yet check out a track I posted from their debut last year here. The album features guest appearances by Nergal of Behemoth, Karl Sanders of Nile, and Obsidian C. of Keep of Kalessin.
OUT TODAY!!!
I should have a sample track up later.
I may have finally found the first upload of the new Ludicra album! Stay tuned for a sample if the quality is good.
Also, I’ve been meaning to mention: they have the best MySpace site of any band out there. Why? It’s simple, without a gagillion massive graphics and ads and other bullshit obscuring what you’re really there to see.
ELUVEITIE album trailter pt.4 is up on YouTube!!
Four more days, people…four more days.
Aealo, the new release from Rotting Christ, is out (Eur) today! It really is a great album; I don’t know what it is about those Greek bands but they get better and better with each album they release. I’m not sure if I like Aealo as much overall as RC’s last release, Theogonia, but it’s close at the least. It’s also a much more diverse sounding album. The sample I’m about to put up sounds much more akin to Theogonia, however.
Check out AEALO now!!!
